Electrical contractor Canyon State Electric (CSE) has been named one of Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators in 2023. The Phoenix-based company is honored alongside one hundred of the world’s most forward-thinking firms across twenty industries.
Fast Company’s list recognizes global companies and organizations that most effectively empower employees at all levels to improve processes, create new products, or invent new ways of doing business.

CSE has introduced notable innovations by leveraging virtual design & construction (VDC) and prefabrication to provide both electrical and low-voltage systems.
Advanced VDC technology
“We utilize advanced VDC technology to optimize project planning, improve efficiency, and deliver top-tier results to our electrical and special systems clients,” said VP of Operations Chris Reyes. “CSE is the only electrical contractor in the nation listed as an authorized distributor of Honeywell’s NOTIFIER line. That’s something we’re very proud of.”
Canyon State Electric was also recognized for advancements in safety, such as the Good Catch Program and 4×5 Suicide Prevention Program.
Implementing new programs

The electrical contractor was honored in May by the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona as the Subcontractor of the Year and for Excellence in Safety.
