On The Tools, the UK’s largest online construction community, is proud to announce a new sector partnership with City Electrical Factors (CEF) – the UK’s pioneering electrical wholesaler – in a shared mission to better support and celebrate the UK’s electrical workforce.

Awareness of CEF’s offerings

With a network of nearly twice as many distribution outlets as their nearest competitor, CEF is known for offering unrivaled customer service, deep product knowledge, and strong support for the trade.

Through this new partnership, On The Tools will help raise awareness of CEF’s offerings and elevate the voices of sparkies across the country, ensuring they have access to the tools, support, and recognition they deserve.

The event is set to welcome 1000 electrical experts and over 100 pioneering brands for two days

Kicking off the partnership, On The Tools will be teaming up with CEF for CEF LIVE 2025, the UK’s pioneering electrical event, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 5th–6th June.

The event is set to welcome thousands of electrical professionals and over 100 pioneering brands for two days of product showcases, CPD-accredited seminars, and expert-led TechTalks from Darren Staniforth and Dave Austin.

Tradespeople attending can expect hands-on demos, exclusive giveaways, and invaluable insight into upcoming changes to the 18th Edition wiring regulations: all under one roof.

A Partnership that powers the trade

This collaboration between CEF and On The Tools highlights a shared ambition: to equip tradespeople with practical support, community, and recognition.

Lee Wilcox, Co-Founder & CEO of On The Tools, said: "We built our community by putting tradespeople at the heart of everything we do: championing their work, sharing their stories, and fighting their corner."

He adds, "CEF brings that same passion and purpose to the table. They’re all about supporting the trade in a real, practical way. We’re proud to join forces with a partner who shares our drive to make a genuine difference in the industry."
