Kirloskar Electric Company Limited has delivered and successfully commissioned a large MG set and controls for a transformer manufacturing unit in Maharashtra, India.
The system is suitable for testing Power Transformers up to 315 MVA, 400 kV. Using this system, the following tests can be performed:
- No-load loss measurement
- Load-loss measurement
- Temperature rise test
Complete technical requirements
The system can also be used for testing single-phase transformers up to 180 MVA. The control system comprises a state-of-the-art VFD, PLC and SCADA system, including all the necessary transformers, switchgear, etc. and has met the complete technical requirements of the customer.
