Kirloskar Electric, for the second time, picks up from NTPC-Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station an order for a large High Voltage AC Motor with identical characteristics to an existing European-made one. The latest is for a 3200 KW 6.6 KV Air to air-to-water cooled high-voltage motor to drive the critical Boiler feed pump in stage 1.
As recently as November 2012, Kirloskar Electric had supplied a 1200 KW -8 Pole High Voltage AC Motor with energy-saving high-efficiency design features, but identical to an existing one of the same European make to drive an ID Fan.
