Assmann Holding GmbH appoints Gerrit Schick as the new Chief Executive Officer. Schick comes from Cherry Digital Health GmbH and succeeds Rolf Unterberger, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Assmann Group, who has also held the role of CEO on an interim basis since 2023.
The successful group of companies sells high-quality solutions for data network technology, structured cabling and networked working environments under its own established Digitus brand.
Assmann Group's strategic development
The Assmann Group is bringing Gerrit Schick on board as an experienced manager who will continue to drive the company's strategic development and sustainable expansion. The computer science graduate was most recently Managing Director of Cherry Digital Health GmbH, a subsidiary of Cherry SE. In this position, Schick played a key role in the successful further development of the Digital Health division.
Prior to this, Schick held numerous pioneering international positions, including Business Group Manager DACH at Philips GmbH, where he was responsible for consolidating the IT solutions business units in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Group's processes and products
Unterberger, who has been Chairman of the Board at Assmann since 2019 and is therefore very familiar with the Group's processes and products, has held the position of CEO on an interim basis since 2023, optimizing the channel structure and further developing the portfolio of the Digitus own brand during this time.
In future, he will once again concentrate fully on his duties as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
