On December 1, the Minhang Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Internet Conference with the theme of ‘Intelligent Manufacturing Empowered by Digital Technology’ was held.
At the conference, ‘Minhang District Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Internet Alliance’, the first of its kind in Shanghai, was unveiled, with Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group announced as its chairman.

The first council comprises 61 enterprises in the Minhang District, including characteristic smart parks, manufacturers, suppliers of intelligent manufacturing equipment and solutions, and companies and service providers engaged in industrial Internet platform.
Positioned as a platform for intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet, the alliance will bring together key players in the area for regional resource sharing. The alliance aims to support the digital transformation of local enterprises, facilitate smooth government-enterprise communication, and promote industry-finance integration and international exchanges and cooperation. In this way, the manufacturing sector can embrace high-quality growth.
Intelligent CHP plant
Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group will make full use of its expertise in 5G
Leaders from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the Minhang government, and all the members were present at the conference. Under their witness, Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group and China Sinogy Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CSEEC) signed a framework agreement on Liaoning Anlian Thermal Power Plant.
According to the agreement, Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group will make full use of its expertise in 5G, AI, big data, visualization, robotics, and 4D simulation to design an intelligent CHP plant. At the same time, main and supporting equipment will be carefully chosen based on the trend in heat supply centers to fundamentally improve the safety, reliability, economical efficiency, and environmental-friendly performance of the plant.
Energy empowerment center
Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group was also invited to deliver a speech ‘Application and Practice of Industrial Internet’ at the conference.
The speaker shared the group's success stories and future planning from the perspective of intelligent practice and intelligent energy empowerment center, demonstrating its superiority and strength in transforming and upgrading the traditional manufacturing business and pushing it toward innovative development.
