Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Engineering Co., Ltd. became the supplier of high- and medium-voltage electrical equipment to National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan (NENU).
The project, funded by loans from the World Bank, is to renovate and expand part of aged substations in the country. Upon completion, the project will take local electricity stability to a new level. It is the fourth NENU project undertaken by Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Engineering Co., Ltd.
