This includes solid silver-plated connection terminals, internal conductors, high-purity, low-oxygen copper, and gold-plated terminal screws, all of which are paired with large switching contacts that provide high contact pressure.
Additionally, it incorporates a special push-through summation current transformer designed to avoid unwanted inductive components.
Protection Against Mixed Frequency Residual Currents
The DFS F Audio series, classified as a mixed frequency sensitive Type F RCCB, protects against various types of residual currents, including AC residual currents, pulsating DC residual currents, and the mixed frequency residual currents produced by modern switch-mode power supplies.
It boasts a rated short-circuit current of 10 kA and disconnection times of up to 300 ms, delivering rapid and dependable protection that is independent of mains voltage. Moreover, it is designed to operate faultlessly amidst mixed frequencies and surge currents during normal use.
Versatile and Flexible Installation Options
The DFS F Audio is available in two configurations: a two-pole version (DFS 2 F Audio) and a four-pole version (DFS 4 F Audio), with the latter offering options for a neutral conductor either on the right or left side, enhancing flexibility during installation.
Both variants support a rated residual current of 30 mA and rated currents up to 63 A. Suitable for both personal high-end audio setups and professional environments such as theaters, concert halls, and cinemas, this series offers enhanced reliability and safety without compromising sound quality.
