Dena Edmiston has recently been named board Member of the Year by the SMPS – Twin Cities. This award is presented to a board member who has gone above and beyond their role and added extreme value to the chapter.
Dena was nominated by several members of the board of directors for her outstanding contributions to the chapter.

In addition to her duties as Secretary/Treasurer, Dena identified creative ways to streamline processes that ultimately saved the chapter money. She also improved communication about finances to the board of directors, making things easier to understand from a high level.
