Supporting E.ON’s digital ambitions, Sebastian Weber and Christopher d’Arcy will become Managing Directors of E.ON Digital Technology GmbH as of July 1, 2021 and will report directly to Victoria Ossadnik, E.ON SE Board Member for Digital.

Sebastian Weber will act as group-wide CTO for E.ON, overseeing the expansion of digital platforms and IT operations. Christopher d’Arcy will be responsible as Senior Vice President for Digital & Technology Expert Services with accountability for group-wide management of internal digital and technology advisory, development, and implementation services.

Sebastian Weber is currently leading digital transformation initiatives for E.ON Germany Sales as Senior Vice President. Before joining E.ON in 2019, Sebastian Weber held various international management positions at Microsoft, most recently, advising international companies on their digital transformation.

He looks back on over 20 years of international experience in the IT industry and was able to gain expertise in various startups and at the Boston Consulting Group.

Group-wide technology platforms

Christopher d’Arcy is currently responsible for the development and operation of E.ON’s group-wide technology platforms, as well as central design and development services. He has over 25 years of experience in setting up and pioneer international IT and digital organizations in global companies like Procter & Gamble and Arthur Andersen.

Before joining E.ON in 2017, he held various global executive roles, most recently as Global Technology Officer Digital Services & Technology Innovation at Ernst & Young.

E.ON moves a step forward in the digital transformation
