E.ON introduces the new virtual community space - 'Republic of Innovators' - a first platform of this kind ever launched by an energy company. It aims to unite global energy pioneers with a common cause: making a sustainable, digital energy world a reality through partnerships, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
The 'Republic of Innovators' is a free virtual gathering point for entrepreneurs, top executives, business leaders from various industries, institutions, and universities from around the world. Each member of the community becomes an 'innovation citizen' and has the opportunity to meet, network, and exchange with energy experts.

Within a highly engaging, interactive 3D world in a shape of a virtual flying island, members take advantage of a host of exciting features, including networking functions, interactive games, and exclusive access to live online events, webinars, and hot-button energy topics.
Upcoming live streams include E.ON’s flagship event - 'Energy Innovation Days' on 5-7 October 2021, which gathered over 5000 viewers from 63 countries last year.

To emphasize the importance of partnerships, the island showcases global energy players in its 'Partner Valley'. Companies that have already joined include leading energy startups, such as Lumenaza and Cuculus, research university RWTH Aachen, global innovation program Free Electrons, and other industry leaders.
Republic of Innovators aims to make a direct contribution to digital transformation and the energy transition via sustainable growth. The community space’s carbon footprint is offset in its entirety making it a carbon-neutral virtual world.
