envelio has joined the EEBus Initiative e.V. and and will be participating in the new “Grid” working group to advance the digital standardization of data exchange in the energy sector.
As part of the “Grid” working group, they look forward to contributing their expertise in building interfaces with various source systems. Their goal is to help establish a nationwide standard for the smooth use of measurement data in future processes and systems.
Shared vision and future projects
Together with EEBus, they are pursuing the vision of a “Plug and Play” approach for all grid-connected systems. This approach will enable automatic transmission of master data to all relevant systems at the grid operator upon initial authentication.
They are particularly excited about the opportunity to work with EEBus and a local DSO to develop a demonstrator for a flexibility management control chain in the Living Lab Cologne. This collaboration will enable them to conduct comprehensive end-to-end tests in a real-world environment, delivering innovative solutions that meet the requirements of flexibility management in the low voltage grid.
They look forward to working with EEBUS and its members to create a safer and more efficient energy supply for the future. Users will find more information about the working group on the website.
