Vice President of Purchasing, Mike Elia, recently announced the promotion of Mike Barnum to Logistics Supervisor. Mike previously was working at Hunt as a CDL Driver.
When Mike was 14, his Dad sent him over the road with a friend for the summer and the rest was history for him. Mike says "I will always remember jumping behind the wheel on California Interstate 5, looking down the long Peterbilt hood then seeing how long the truck was in the mirrors thinking it was so cool."
New responsibilities
In his new position, Mike will have the CDL Drivers and Logistics Specialist roles reporting to him. He will be focused on helping build our logistics strategy with Baer Manufacturing and our operations teams.
Mike's looking forward to the challenge as well as learning more about the business part of logistics. Congratulations Mike, on the new position as the Logistics Supervisor.
