In March 2019, NR successfully commissioned 120MVar Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) system for Gujirat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO in India, which is the first large-capacity STATCOM in GETCO grid.
GETCO grid with the comprehensive regulation methods for flexible voltage and reactive power. In addition, it supplements a powerful "reactive power", contributes to the high-speed development of the power grid of this zone. This 120MVar STATCOM system is installed in the DIU 220kV substation at the essential economic zone of Gujarat. The operation of the project added.
