Features of GridPro

The new GridPro additions comprises of 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang, and 4-gang standard switch plates

The Part M GridPro Frontplates range offers a visually contrasting, flexible range of wiring accessories and will join Scolmore’s comprehensive Part M collection, which has been designed and developed as a high quality, flexible and modern solution to assisted living requirements. The new GridPro additions comprise 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang, and 4-gang standard switch plates.

One of the key features of the GridPro design is the fact that there is no requirement for a yoke with the 1-4-gang front plates – the modules are secured to the back of the GridPro front plates via the screw feature on the modules. The benefit of not having to use a yoke is that it allows installers to use standard back boxes.

Ease of visibility

These new front plates join the growing Part M range which also comprises 1-gang, 2-gang, and 3-gang wide rockers. With the ease of visibility in mind, these wide rockers are an ideal choice for assisted living installations and to aid with Part M compliance.

Completing the Part M line-up is the locating plug socket originally which is designed to assist people with impaired vision or poor hand to eye coordination to more easily insert a plug into a socket. The contoured shape of the front plate guides the earth pin into position.
