An exclusive partnership between Click Scolmore (Scolmore) and Energetic Lighting (Energetic) - the world’s renowned manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting products - will see the most comprehensive range of price-competitive, low energy lamps, being made available to the UK lighting and electrical industries for the first time.

With the changes to Part L of the building regulations that will affect lighting installations, due to come into effect next month, the launch is aptly timed. The new requirement will be that a minimum of 75% of light fittings in new dwellings must be low energy.

Click Scolmore – Energetic partnership

For more than 30 years, Energetic has been at the forefront of innovation in low energy lighting technology

Wholesalers, contractors, specifiers and installers, working to comply with the latest regulations, will benefit from the new Click Energetic portfolio of high-power LEDs and the Quick-Start CFLs, along with low energy fluorescent lamps, which provide direct alternatives for standard incandescent lamps, without compromising on shape, size or light effect.

For more than 30 years, Energetic has been at the forefront of innovation in low energy lighting technology, with a focus on product design, manufacturing excellence and stringent quality control.  From its European headquarters in Belgium, the company has formed strategic partnerships with some of the largest lighting companies around the world.

Strategic alliance seen as a natural fit

The alliance with Click Scolmore is seen by both companies as a natural fit. Will Smits, the International Sales & Marketing Manager for Energetic, comments “Click Scolmore has earned itself a reputation for quality, innovative products and exceptional customer service, just the qualities on which we, too, pride ourselves.

Will Smits adds, “With their knowledge and understanding of the UK electrical industry, and our unrivaled range of products offering a number of unique features and benefits, we are able to satisfy the growing need for price-competitive, environmentally-friendly lamps that will play a part in the reduction of energy consumption.
