China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) was grandly opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Shanghai Electric presented an exhibition under the theme of "Creating Smart Cities of the Future with Innovative Energy Solutions" and showcased its latest achievements in "intelligent energy" and "smart city".
On the first day, Chen Qun, Shanghai's Deputy Mayor, and Xu Yibo, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee, visited our exhibition area. They were accompanied by Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at Shanghai Electric Group.

As the three-day fair put forward the slogan of "Technology Makes a Better Life", Shanghai Electric showed in its "Intelligent Energy" area the model of intelligent energy project in Sanxing Town, Chongming District and a 3D virtual sand table of intelligent wind farm, catching the eyes of many visitors.
Shanghai Electric's floating wind turbine made its first appearance in a model that simulates a 6-8 MW wind turbine generator unit built on the deep sea semi-submersible floating foundation developed by Shanghai Electric. A sand table which depicts the application of hydrogen energy cells suggests that Shanghai Electric enjoys a portfolio of fuel cell products with independent intellectual property rights.
