This solar panel installation follows four other school projects that Harmon Electric/Harmon Solar has worked on within the past six months.
Earlier this year, Harmon Electric/Harmon Solar began construction of one of its largest commercial solar systems, a multi-unit design and solar panel installation for three schools within the Douglas Unified School District. These projects will be completed by the close of the month.
Significant energy
At the beginning of 2011, Harmon Solar/Harmon Electric was also part of a remodel project at Flagstaff High School, which included a 60kW roof mount photovoltaic array.
Not only do these systems provide significant energy savings for the schools, but they also allow the students the ability to experience first hand the power of solar energy.
