LOVATO Electric expands the range of accessories for interface protection system units (IP) with the new backup power supply type PMVFUPS02.
CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16 standards, which regulate the connection of co-generation systems, require an auxiliary power supply to feed the interface protection (IP), the interface switch (IS) and the backup switch for at least 5 seconds in the event of a power failure.
PMVFUPS02 guarantees the necessary energy by accumulating it in capacitors, thus avoiding the use of batteries, resulting in savings in time and costs for maintenance and replacement.
Compatibility with contactors
As an alternative to contactors, it can be combined with moulded case circuit breakers
The compatibility with contactors (IS or backup function) with standard AC or low consumption electronic AC/DC coils, makes it extremely flexible for any type of system.
As an alternative to contactors, it can be combined with moulded case circuit breakers (IS or backup function) with undervoltage trip releases. PMVFUPS02 is supplied with a voltage of 230VAC and it provides a power output of 650VA with stored energy of 645Ws.
Integrated output protections
The integrated output protections against instantaneous overcurrents and the electronic thermal protection ensure an excellent level of reliability, which eliminates possible device failures caused by incorrect wiring.
PMVFUPS02 is made in modular housing (9 modules) for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail or screw fixing.
