LOVATO Electric launches its new range of P5 series molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs), designed to guarantee protection against overloads and short circuits, operational continuity and reliability in low voltage industrial systems.
Designed to meet the needs of machine builders, installers and designers, MCCBs P5 series combine cutting-edge technology, operational flexibility and reliability.
Equipped with an electronic trip unit
They are equipped with an electronic trip unit, which allows a wide range of current adjustment and high precision in tripping, features that make them extremely flexible and superior in terms of performance compared to traditional thermal-magnetic circuit breakers.
The range includes three-pole and four-pole IEC versions compliant with IEC/EN 60947-2 with sizes up to 800A, and three-pole versions compliant with UL489 for the North American market, available with nominal currents up to 600A.
On the front there is an operating lever with a trip position, which signals openings due to faults in the system. There is also a test button for checking the signaling system and a diagnostic LED that indicates the current level in the system by means of a flashing code system.
