Schneider Electric emerged as the frontrunner in this year's report due to its client-centric approach

Schneider Electric emerged as the frontrunner in this year's report due to its client-centric approach to tackling climate change, which has led it to complete over 1,000 energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs). These ESPCs offer public entities a holistic solution that achieves sustainability and cost-cutting goals while avoiding prohibitive upfront investments.

Comprehensive infrastructure project

Schneider Electric has delivered nearly $4 billion in solutions, including:

  • Sierra Vista, AZ – City leaders had an ambitious plan to become the premier sports tourism destination in the Southwest. Working with Schneider Electric, they were able to modernize community facilities to benefit residents and visitors alike, while also increasing environmental leadership. This sustainable infrastructure project is expected to yield over $138 million in positive economic impact over the next 25 years.
  • Gulf Shores City Schools, AL – The school district had their sights set on becoming the most innovative, state-of-the-art district in the region. Schneider Electric delivered a comprehensive infrastructure project focused on sustainability, resilience and student engagement. As a result of this work, the district was named a 2023 Green Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Modesto City Schools, CA – With a focus on improving sustainability, equity, and student health, Schneider Electric helped this historically disadvantaged school district overhaul their infrastructure. Project highlights include pioneering the EV transition with the single largest order of Blue Bird EV buses in the nation.
