Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group and Shangzhuang Gas Generator Co., Ltd. of Beijing Energy Investment Holdings (BEIH) signed a smart partial load and performance optimization system for Class-E gas turbines at a cloud video conference on June 24.
Combined cycle efficiency
It is the first cooperation to make heavy-duty gas turbines smart for Shanghai Electric. The system will greatly increase the combined cycle efficiency of the unit under certain loads.
The annual fuel cost of the plant is estimated to come down by over one million yuan. The cooperation will also lay a solid groundwork for Shanghai Electric to make its heavy-duty gas turbines smart.
