On December 9, 2019, Shemar Power's new explosion-proof transformer bushing (126kV/72.5kV) successfully passed the whole machine test.
The bushing was installed in Chint Electric's 126kV transformer and will be used in Baotou's 110kV Xinyingzi substation. This is the first power grid project where Shemar Power's transformer bushing was delivered.
Shemar oil-impregnated paper capacitor composite bushing is mainly composed of a hollow composite insulator, a capacitor core, metal accessories, an oil-in-insulation tube, transformer oil, etc.

Compared with traditional porcelain external insulation transformer bushings, Shemar products inherit the performance advantages of hollow composite insulators; at the same time, combined with mature overall sealing structure design and internationally recognized capacitor core manufacturing technology, the overall electrical, mechanical and sealing performance of the product is more reliable.
In addition, compared with dry-type casing, the one-time price of Shenma's new explosion-proof composite casing is much lower than that of dry-type casing.
Shemar’s transformer composite bushings
In June 2018, the 72.5kV, 126kV and 252kV transformer composite bushings developed by Shemar Electric successfully passed the appraisal organized by the China Electricity Council and won high praise from the experts present.
The appraisal expert group unanimously agreed that the product can significantly improve the reliability and economy of transformer equipment, and has the characteristics of small partial discharge, high strength, explosion-proof, earthquake-resistant and pollution-resistant.
The main technical performance of the product has reached the international leading level of similar products (China Electricity Council Appraisal No. [2018] No. 106).
Explosion-proof composite transformer bushing
As of August 2019, Shemar Transformer Composite Bushing has obtained a total of 12 patents, including 3 invention patents. Shenma's new explosion-proof composite transformer bushing can effectively prevent the occurrence of malignant accidents, such as explosion, flashover, leakage and fracture, and demonstrates huge technical and economic advantages throughout its life cycle.
With the trend of fully composite substations, Shenma's new explosion-proof composite transformer bushing will surely make greater contributions to the safety, reliability, resource conservation and environmental friendliness of the power grid.
