NR successfully delivered a ±300MVar containerized Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) system and series equipment in the 500kV Wujiang substation, Suzhou City, China.
As one of the world’s largest-capacity STATCOM system, this project was equipped total capacity of ±300MVar STATCOM, which includes 3 sets of ±100MVar STATCOM; moreover, the maximum output capacity reach to ±450MVar in the failure state.
