Emerson has announced enhancements to its ASCO™ Series 327C solenoid valve, which now includes versions with Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset construction.
This valve is engineered with direct-acting, high-flow technology, making it particularly suitable for sectors such as power plants, refineries, and chemical processing facilities. The improvements promise better performance in high-demand environments.
Two-Layer Dynamic Seal Technology
The ASCO Series 327C valve is equipped with a balanced poppet construction designed for high-flow efficiency, and is capable of operating in challenging conditions with temperatures between −60 and 90°C.
Its innovative two-layer dynamic seal technology is designed to minimize friction and enhance stiction resistance, ensuring reliability and consistent performance across its operational life.
New Additions: Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset Versions
Intrinsically safe version enables even partial stroke testing without requiring an electronic booster
Among the latest enhancements are the Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset models, which aim to provide quicker response times and heightened reliability.
Notably, the intrinsically safe version facilitates consistent partial stroke testing without requiring an electronic booster, representing a significant advancement for this type of valve technology.
