90W versions of the popular and cost-efficient RACM 2”x4” AC/DC series are available with wide 85-264Vac input range and a selection of tightly regulated outputs including 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC.

The series includes safety certifications to medical standard IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 for 2MOPP ‘B’ and ‘BF’ applications as well as IEC/EN 62368-1, IEC/EN 60335-1 and IEC/EN 61558-1 for reinforced isolation in industrial, IT, test and measurement and household use, all to 4000m altitude.

Limited Power Sources (LPS)

The parts are classified as Limited Power Sources (LPS) and are suitable for installation in surge Class 3 and Over-Voltage Category OVC III environments.

EN 55032/35 ‘Class B’ emissions limits are met with a good margin and efficiency is high, up to 90% typical, depending on the variant, with this value maintained down to light loads to enable ErP standards compliance. No-load loss is also less than 200mW at 230VAC.

operating range and standards

Operating temperature is -40°C to +90°C with derating and the parts are available as a 2”x4” industry-standard open-card and with an optional metallic enclosure.

The RACM90-K series is one of the most versatile on the market with a combination of a wide electrical/environmental operating range and standards compliance, all at a competitive price point.
