On June 11, 2020, NR Electric successfully put into operation the 275/33kV substation EPC project of Malaysia Samalaju Industrial Park.
The project is an important part of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) in Sarawak, Malaysia.

The project includes one 275/33kV high-voltage substation, one 33/10.5kV workshop substation and one sets of Static VAR Compensation (SVC) system.
Challenge of complex power supply operation mode
NR Electric provides the whole EPC solution for this project, included the overall survey, design, procurement, civil construction, installation, commissioning and operation.
The solution adopts PCS series substation protection & control products and a dynamic reactive power compensation system, which successfully solved the challenge of complex power supply operation mode, large power load fluctuation, and high power quality requirements of chemical enterprises.
