Building on their successful demonstration at Automatica earlier this year, the companies will present high-performance, fully integrated drive units designed for mobile platforms and robotics.
Integrated Drive Solutions
The spotlight falls on the seamless integration of Neugart’s NGV drive series with ALVA’s SlimTorq frameless motors. This collaboration results in a comprehensive drive solution that brings enhanced capabilities to both sectors. Visitors to the SPS 2025 event can explore two operational drive units at the booths of both companies:
- NGV064 drive unit featuring a 160 mm wheel
- NGV100 drive unit featuring a 250 mm wheel
Advanced Motor and Gearbox Technology
ALVA’s SlimTorq motors are distinguished by their proprietary FiberPrinting process, a patented technology that allows for high copper fill factors and eliminates cogging.
This innovation ensures superior torque and thermal performance while maintaining a compact design. Meanwhile, Neugart's NGV series offers a unified module that integrates the gearbox, motor flange, and wheel hub, optimizing space while boosting load capacity and durability.
