Canyon State Electric (CSE) successfully gathered more than 130 Lego sets for children in foster care as part of its annual holiday Lego Drive held in November and December, surpassing its initial target of 100 sets.
These toys were donated to Arizona Helping Hands during their Fill Santa's Sleigh event, which aims to provide holiday joy to foster children.
Community Support for a Record-Breaking Collection
The impressive collection was made possible through contributions from CSE employees, partners, vendors, and members of the wider community, doubling last year’s collection efforts.
"I’m incredibly grateful for the generosity of our internal team and surrounding community," stated CEO Stephanie Maderazzo-Hughes. "Because of them, kids throughout the valley will have something special to open this holiday season."

Initiated in 2021, the Lego Drive was established to honor the late CSE founder Steve Maderazzo, who had a passion for building with Lego, having constructed many models including a replica of the CSE office building. With more than 12,000 children in foster care in Arizona, the Lego sets collected aim to bring joy to families across the Phoenix valley this holiday season.
