Emerson has announced updates to the ASCO™ Series 327C solenoid valve with the introduction of new Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset versions.
Known for its direct-acting, high-flow technology, this valve is designed for high-demand environments, such as power plants, refineries, and chemical processing facilities, offering improved flow-to-power ratios.
Dynamic Seal Technology
The ASCO Series 327C incorporates a balanced poppet construction, providing high-flow efficiency suitable for harsh conditions, operating within a temperature range of −60 to 90°C.
The valve's two-layer dynamic seal technology minimizes friction and enhances stiction resistance, ensuring dependable performance throughout its lifespan.
Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset Versions

The introduction of the Intrinsically Safe and Manual Reset versions marks a significant enhancement for the Series 327C. These new versions provide quicker response times and greater reliability.
The intrinsically safe model, in particular, eliminates the requirement for an electronic booster, allowing for more consistent partial stroke testing, thereby speeding up response times and simplifying valve design.
