Aggreko Celebrates 3000 LTI Free Days At Chennai Depot, India

Aggreko, the global provider of mobile, modular power, temperature control, and energy services, has achieved a milestone of 3000 LTI-free days at its depot in Chennai, India, in February 2020. 

ISO accredited depot

The 100,000 sq. ft, ISO 9001:2015 accredited depot serves industrialized Chennai and southern states of India. Equipment available from the depot includes mobile and modular power solutions such as generators and load banks, as well as cooling equipment including but not restricted to; cooling towers, chillers, air handlers, heat exchangers, and air conditioners.

The depot established in 2011 has been supporting many multinational companies operating in the utilities, manufacturing, mining, and oil & gas sectors. Chennai depot has been serving more than 150 customers through more than 200 contracts on a yearly basis.

Shobhit Taneja, General Manager, Aggreko India, said, “Aggreko’s Chennai depot has been instrumental in scripting our growth story. It has supported seamless, safe execution of multi MW jobs in India for more than nine years, especially in the utility and mining sectors.”

He adds, “We have delivered large-scale projects such as 5 MW of utility power in the Andaman Islands and a comfort cooling project at one of the key underground mines in Central India, to name just two.
