By installing a new speed display together with Westenergie, the local community of Rommersheim is making an important contribution to the safety of all road users in the Prüm collective municipality.
The company is supporting the municipality with a grant to purchase the device.

Christian Nathem, Westenergie Municipal Manager at the Trier location, emphasized, "I am pleased that we are implementing these measures to improve road safety together with the local community of Rommersheim. In doing so, we are contributing to improving the quality and safety of the location."

Westenergie offers the KEK - Municipal Energy Concept funding program to municipalities that have concluded a concession agreement with the energy company.
It includes solutions and products that municipalities can use to prepare for the energy future. Measures in the areas of climate protection, energy efficiency, and infrastructure are supported. This includes, for example, increasing the energy efficiency of municipal buildings and facilities or concepts for electromobility.
