On Nov., 4th, NR successfully delivered ±300MVar containerized Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) system and series equipment in 500kV Wujiang substation, Suzhou City, China.
As one of the world largest capacity STATCOM system, this project was equipped total capacity of ±300MVar STATCOM, which includes 3 sets of ±100MVar STATCOM. Moreover, the max output capacity can reach to ±450MVar in failure state.
