Five Star Electric Corp. has been awarded a subcontract valued upwards of $50 million by MLJ Contracting Corp. for the Times Square Shuttle Line Electrical Package.
The scope of work entailed upgrades to various systems, including but not limited to communications, fiber optics, access control, intrusion detection, wireless, public address, fire alarm, traction power and signals, as well as modifications to station platforms, including lighting fixtures, general power, switchgear, and feeder work.
